Jam-Packed and Full-of-Fun

For the Labor day weekend, my in-laws have been planning the weekend full of fun with everyone.

On Friday, Lola stayed with my mother-in-law, Lynda during the day. We got family pictures taken at "The Castle Park" and had a BBQ.

Saturday was a wonderful morning! Lola slept through the night!! We went over for breakfast, and then I went with the family to Cherry Hill and Jay went to work for a "few hours" with plans of meeting up with us at lunch. We got passes for the batting cages and mini golf and for swimming. Well because we were going home for lunch, I didn't want to really do anything until Jay was there, so that we could do it together. Well lunch comes, and Jay still has to work for a "little longer" (poor kid!) well than my phone dies, and I lose it...so I keep borrowing other peoples phones to see if he's finished, or almost finished, or if he knows when he will be finished. When we get back to Cherry Hill he says he probably won't be finished until he has to go back...so much for a few hours! So I was done waiting for him and had a great time swimming with his family! But I did miss him, and wished he could have come.

He had to be back at work because he was the MOD which is where he stays over night in the hotel. I like when this night comes cause it means a night together, room service and movies, all on his work. After my day with his family at Cherry Hill I went to the hotel, but he was still working. He didn't finish until about midnight!

Sunday, I went to get Lola, I missed her overnight! And then we had the choice of a baby blessing, Jay's dad speaking, or my parents both speaking for church all at the same time. We decided to go to my parents ward. We thought that it might be helpful to keep my brothers in check. (We enjoyed their talks on faith!) After church, we went to the baby blessing luncheon at Jay's parents house. (It was Jay's cousins baby by the way)

We decided to see if my brothers would like to spend the night with us. Kyle kept wanting to have a sleep over with Lola, which I wouldn't think would be the prime time to spend with a puppy, but he did. He wanted to be woken up by her licking his face!! What a weird kid!! We played DDR which is my favorite game of all time. We then watched "Willow" which I was terrified of as a child, so I wasn't too excited, but Jay insisted that I needed to see it again. I liked it much better than what I remembered, but still kinda weird!

Monday, I made breakfast for the boys and then we went to Jay's parents for breakfast. (we had a lot of eating this weekend.) After breakfast #2, I went to Park City with Jay's family for shopping at the factory outlets, Lola stayed at my parents for my brothers to watch her and Jay had to work. The weather started out pretty crappy, but ended up being fine in the afternoon. My in-laws gave us all umbrellas and we "played a game" which ended up being sweet! Thanks again Jay and Lynda! I bought Lola a hoddie that is so cute!

That night my family was meeting at my parents for dinner, and I was so excited to show my niece and nephew my new puppy. They were so good with Lola! Rylee only hit her once, and Logan only almost pulled her tail! I did so haircuts, and then Jay and I went to my late soccer game.

Today I'm back at work, wishing I was home with Jay and Lola!! Can't wait for another holiday!!

I don't have any pictures from this weekend. Sad isn't it? I left my camera at my parents house and they were in St. George until Sunday...and then I didn't do a very good job for the rest of the adventures. My bad...but I would have liked a picture of Saturday, my tan line from the morning to the afternoon was quite humorous.
