My first grade teacher was the best. When someone came to school with a new haircut or new shoes or any such things, she would have the whole class would sing to them. They would get to choose a word, and if they chose "awesome" as their word and if their name was Todd and they were wearing new shoes, the song would go like this:
"Todd has new shoes,
awesome, awesome new shoes,
Todd has new shoes on today. Harray!"
Today I'm wearing a new shirt. A wonderful, wonderful new shirt. I wish someone to sing to me.

I was singing that song at my house the other day because I was wearing new shoes and all of my sorority sisters thought I was crazy! haha!
