Hello dear blogging world! My blog has been lacking ever since I went part time. Now I don't have as much time at work to do the things I really love, like blogging or shopping!
Where to begin?
Recently Jay and I went to Florida!! We had tons of fun! We went Jay's co-worker (Jay and him had to go for work) and his wife, Dave and Cami. We went on a totally awesome swamp adventure tour, to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and then (by ourselves) to Magic Kingdom. It was so HOT and HUMID! And we got SO tired from all the running, running, running!!! But it was an awesome get-a-way! And Ethan had fun with his Nana and cousins while we were gone! We are looking forward to Girls Camp (okay just me on this one), Mexican Cruise and Hawaii still this year!! Yay for vacations!!
Other than that we just play with our little buddy and work, school, church. I've been playing soccer again and LOVE it! Although my team is pretty bad...Awhile back I did get a new car! Orange Saturn Vue which I named -yes I name cars, you HAVE to- Darla.
MY ~E~ UPDATE!!
Ethan is such a big kid!! He's so tall and skinny! I miss his "baby" look! He continues to surprise me with the many things he knows! His singing is my favorite. I can't believe how many songs he knows! My favorites are "I Am a Child of God" and "Child's Prayer" but he knows a ton of songs, and the ones he doesn't know, he hums along with. I LOVE IT!!
His current favorite movies, which at our house, we watch a ton of movies: "Jack" (Nightmare Before Christmas) "Back-agains" but his favorite is "Buzz and Woody". He's hilarious to watch this with. He says a lot of the lines and sings along!!!
He has been having an awesome Summer. He loves to be outside! He likes to play soccer and baseball with Lola and mom and dad, and LOVES bubbles. We can't say the word "bubbles" without him going crazy to have some, then it forever til he's done, so we avoid the word altogether. We got him a bubble-gun that's been a big help though!! He loves his little pool to slash in too.
Ethan's speech and words are really good! He counts to 18 or 20 and sings his ABC's and points to letters and will guess which letter it is, and the kid knows a ton of words!
He's starting to get interested in the potty, he'll sit on it, but has yet to actually go. I wasn't expecting potty training yet, so we try when he tells us, but we aren't in too big of a hurry, we'll see where it goes from here!
He also loves to color, dance, play "chase", and wee-wee!
Sledding!
