We almost never bought any of these items before I was pregnant. Or if we did, it wasn't every stinkin' time we went. But now, I need snacks. If I don't have my snacks, I get really sick. Even when I do have my snacks I get sick, but it's not as bad. And I have to get a wide variety cause eating the same thing every day gets super lame.
These snacks have almost doubled what we are used to spending on groceries...
The most frustrating part about buying these new items, is that a lot of the time, they end up in the toilet too soon, and coming from the wrong direction. When I'm at the store, buying these additional snacks, I have to ask myself, "will this be easy enough to throw up?" Some items, I have crossed off the list of my snacks. I will not eat somethings anymore. Experience has proven it's not worth eating it.
And I've never been a big fan of french fries. And now, I want french fries all the time. It's silly because they aren't something that would come up easy, but surprisingly, I haven't thrown up any french fries yet.
The cost of these snacks are becoming a bit of a financial burden. Not to mention having additional dinners on hand, cause somethings don't sound good at the time. And having to chose different lunch items has cost way too much.
I hate that I end up throwing a lot of the food away anyway cause my appetite is crazy out of control. One minute, I'm starving! I have to eat! And then, the next minute, food sounds like the grossest thing on the planet, and I don't want anything to do with it.
I am so sick of being sick!!

I feel bad about the throwing up part for you, but I don't feel too bad that you actually have to BUY GROCERIES!!! Guess what? We do it all the time!!! Wait til you have to buy baby food, baby snacks and formula. Then you can have grown-up grocery bills!!! YOu guys have been cheating this whole time anyway....
I feel so sad for you! i wasnt sick with either of my kids, but i heard it passes(hopefully) in the 2nd trimester. Hang in there!
The first 3 to 4 months are the worst!! Hang in there it'll get better until you are ready to pop!
I was laughing so hard reading this post- you sound just like me! Well considering we're a day apart and all, we're on the same track! We need to get together and swap stories and do lunch... and then of course throw it up afterwards! haha I always have to have snacks too- especially at church. My favorite thing is diet Dr. Pepper (helps with the nausea) and gas station food! How weird is that! lol
I'm so sorry you are sick. Hopefully it passes! UGH! I'm so excited for you though! How fun to have a sweet baby around!
