Life, as I know it, is CHANGING!!
I miss the old days, when my worries were whether my mom would let me go play with my friends after school.
I miss making mud pies, filled with bugs.
I miss riding the bus home from school singing (and of course, stomping and clapping) "We Will Rock You".
I miss riding my bike to 7-11 to get a slush and I miss that a 75 cent slush is the only expense I ever thought about.
I miss having rollie-pollie fights.
I miss running up the hill to catch the bus - I miss being able to run up the hill without being winded!
I miss not combing my hair and wearing mismatched clothes.
BUT I am excited for THESE NEW CHANGES TOO - just kinda SCARY and NEW....I guess I'm not a little kid anymore and it's kinda sad to leave that world. This ADULT world has it's perks though too...

kid(s) make all fun new memories like that too!
It is so true.... But once you hold you little guy and he smiles at you for the first time... nothing else matters! :-)
