Baby Ethan Scott Clark was born September 1st at 10:06 weighing 6 pounds 3 ounces and measuring 20 inches in length. We are so happy to have him here and we are so in LOVE.
At our last Dr's appointment (Friday August 31st) our Dr decided that she wanted us to get the baby here soon, so we decided to have labor induced. Monday night at 6:30 we went to the hospital and by 7:45 had a cervidal placed. At about 4:00 AM Tuesday I was in a lot of pain, mostly my legs. At about 5:30 or 6:00 they took the cervidal out and I took a I took a long bath to help ease the pain and try to relax. At about 7:00 the nurse checked and I was about a 1/2 cm dilated, and they started the pitoicin. At about 8:00 they said I could have the epidural and the guy would be in as soon as he could. At about 9:00 my water broke. At about 9:30 the guy FINALLY showed up to do the epidural, which was too late to take effect...At about 9:45 we started delivery and 9 pushes later, perfect little Ethan was born. Jay was by my side the entire hospital stay and has taken the best care of our little guy. You can tell he is so in love and he is the best daddy ever.
Congratulations you guys!! He is so perfect!! What a stud!! Sounds like once the pitocin was started you had a way fast labor, holy cow!! That stinks about the epidural though :( Congrats again though, so cute!
What a doll! I look at your pictures and think, Holy Crap she is so tough! How the heck am I supposed to do this! Way to go! I love your blog picture with you pregnant (Your main picture) who did it?!
Jay and I were married August 17, 2007. Ethan was born September 1st 2009, and Robin was born January 15th 2012. Our family is our EVERYTHING! Our kiddos are growing so quickly! We love them so much and are truly blessed to be able to be their parents. We also have a puppy. Her name is Lola. And she's the best puppy ever,...We love each other, and our families very much. We both come from large families and love spending time with them. I graduated from Northridge High, and Jay from Logan High. We met while I was working at Deseret Book, Jay was shopping. I didn't let him leave without my number. Jay works at the Centerpointe Theater as the Technical Director and I work as an office manager at a dental office. When we're not at work we are together, watching a movie, eating frozen pizza, working on our house projects, watching HOUSE or THE OFFICE or with our families or friends.
