Ethan is growing so quickly! He's really starting to walk really well. And he's picking up signs and words really good. He can count to 3 and can say Mom, Dada, Lola, Dog, No, Jake, Jacob, Nana, Papa, Hi, Hey, Thank you, Love you (though I haven't heard it!! DANG IT!) and lots of other short words. He said Gross last week and it was so funny. He also can laugh like the joker. We had batman cartoons on for our nephew and Ethan kept laughing like the joker - so funny! He can make lots of animal sounds and has really picked up on signing lately. He can sign more, eat, drink, milk, and dog, all done, there's probably a couple more, but those are the ones I can remember right now. We finally let him learn to do stairs and is doing great with them, but it scares me to death!! He's also really good at throwing fits, but for the most part is a very happy little guy!
In Other news!
We got a new puppy last week, an assie shepherd mix. She's Jay's dog, her name is Ginger. She's stinkin cute, but Lola has had a really hard time with her. Lola wouldn't stand even close to her for the first few days and I swear she's been crying. (Not whining; CRYING SILENTLY. I see the tears!) Ethan doesn't really care but lets me know when he's finished playing with her. Ginger is pretty good about the potty, but hopefully gets better real quick. She's a fun new addition, but not the addition I was looking for, not that I was looking.
We had a traditional Thanksgiving at my mom's and then I went traditional shopping on Black Friday with my mom, sister, and friend. It was pretty crazy, we started at 11:00 on Thanksgiving night. I got home at 9:30 the next morning after a melt down at RC Willey's. But we did get a new couch set, and I love it. :) I made my family all shirts to do our shopping in, and those who didn't shop, to just wear for the day. Mine said, "Mama didn't raise no wimp" and my sister's said "Whatever you came for, I just took the last one." My mom's said "Why am I here" and my friend's said "I'm with Crazy"
PICTURES TO COME! Hopefully.
Sledding!
