Ethan at 16 months, Christmas, Wedding, and New Years!

~16 months~
Ethan is running! He's walking very well and gets going pretty fast! He's picking up words and signs so good. He's added to his vocabulary Camden, Ginger, Lola, mine, downstairs and probably more that I can't think of now. He' starting to say short sentances too! He says, no mine, no my mama/nana, no, no, bye-bye dada/papa. He is always pointing at everything to show us and says eh, eh, eh. It so fun that he wants to show us everything and wants everything. He still gives the best kisses in the world and when he gets tired he kisses a lot!!! A couple of weeks ago, my baby fell down the stairs!:( SO SAD! He had a huge bruise across his forehead, luckily for me, it happened at Nana's and I wasn't there. I probably would have went into shock. I hate when my baby gets hurt! But he was okay, and now he's a little more cautions about stairs, so there's a silver lining I guess.

~Christmas~
For Christmas, Ethan was spoiled! He got a million new toys and loves playing with them. He got lots of cars, 2 different kinds of "phones", a "remote control", a trike, a basketball hoop thing, tons of clothes, lots of books, a few dvds, and a bunch of other fun stuff. I think my favorite gift was from my mom, a recordable book that she "reads" to Ethan, such a neat gift!! Jay and I were also spoiled for Christmas, I got a new lap top, a coat, boats, clothes, CD....Jay got a mini fridge, a fire pitt, clothes, dvds, and A TRIP TO HAWAII!!....We also got a great big framed picture of the Salt Lake Temple that we love!

~Wedding~
My little sister got married on Dec. 29th. She had an open house the night before in Menden, which is close to Logan and then got married in the Logan temple the next morning at 10:00. We stayed the night in Logan and thank goodness we did! It would have sucked to run all the way home in between! After the temple, the weather was AWFUL! Freezing and raining and windy! So we went to the luncheon a little early for some pictures, at the Copper Mill, then had the luncheon. Then started to Layton for the reception. The weather was still awful, it took 2 1/2 hours to get from Logan to Layton! So we barely made it in time to the reception to find the guy that was hired to decorate was way behind! And guests were beginning to arrive! But everything did work out great. And Ethan looked like a stud in his brown pin-striped suit!!

~New Years~
Happy 2011! For New Years, we went to my mom's for a delicious dinner and then to Jay's parents for some swimming and more food!! Then left to get home - we didn't care to stay to Midnight, but on the way home at Midnight, we were pulled over! But NO TICKET!! Thank goodness! New Years Day we went to my Uncle Ric's and Auntie Joan's for traditional OIL CAKES!! BEST TRADITION EVER!!! It's always so fun to see so many friends and family there.

~Ginger~
Ginger is becoming a giant. I still hate her, but really love her. She's outgrown Lola and eats and pees and poops like CRAZY!
