"Here's your change."

For all life decisions, I wish that I had a cashier. I could go to them, give them what I have, they'd do the calculating for me, I'd hold my hand out, they'd dump in what I'd get and say "Here's your change." I'd walk away with it, and never have to think twice.

We are suppose to close on our house on the 19th. It's been fun to pick out paint and flooring and talk about the improvements we'd like to do. I'm most excited for the baby's room. First of all that he'll have a room. Right now, he'd have to share with us. I've picked out the colors and want to get in there and start right away!! I'm worried about Lola. There's dogs on both sides of us, and they are big. And I hope she adjusts to her new living courts well. Her kennel will be further away then it is now, and I hope she's does okay with that. (I hope that I do okay with that too.)I'm afraid there will be lots of barking when we move in, and the back yard needs work, so I hope she stays at least mostly clean. I'm worried about the new ward. We finally are starting to feel at home in the ward we're in now, and we've been there two years. I'll miss that for any problems we have that we just need to let the landlords know, and it'll be fixed. We'll have to be the fixers. (When I say "we", I mean Jay of course.)

I have LOTS of worries and LOTS of things I'll miss. And I don't really know if I wanna move just because it's hard, I don't like change, it's easier to rent, and it's easier to put it off. Although, a cashier for all my decisions would be EASIER, it wouldn't be what I need. I won't be able to progress and I wouldn't learn to trust in the Lord. And I'm grateful that we chose our Change for ourselves.

I read a talk from the last conference titled Get On with Our Lives by Elder Steven E. Snow of the Seventy, last month before I went visiting teaching, and it was reassuring to me and helped me to feel comfort that we should move forward.
