HOUSEWORK

We're HOMEOWNERS!!! YEA!!! and uh.....SCARY!!!! Just signed away 30 years of our lives....no big deal!!:) We have been very busy with all the home repairs, and we still have a lot to do, but here's some "DURING" and "ALMOST AFTER" pictures. Unfortunately I didn't take any "BEFORE" pictures, but BELIEVE ME, it look a million times better! I'll take some "AFTER" after we're all the way finished.



Our work area and one day I hope it to be our Kitchen. We haven't done too much in this room yet, cause there's too much stuff to work around. We did rip out the carpet, title, aluminum?, and take out and repair a wall....oh and do some pumping changes.
Downstairs: We took out all the carpet and have pumped for the washer and dryer to be down there, but leaving the rest unfinished until we're up for more projects. We're pretty busy with the rest of the house to get anything finished down there right now.

I know it seems silly but this hall has taken SO MUCH WORK!! I don't have more recent picture, but I'll get one, cause it looks a ton better now.
I don't have pictures of the bathrooms. We aren't doing too much in them. We removed all the wallpaper and are painting them but nothing major, it's too hard to get a good picture of them.

We have been SO BLESSED to have a GREAT FAMILY to help us! Jay's brother and his wife were here on vacation and they went over every day to work on the house while I, and sometimes while Jay was at work! My mom has come over every day to help and is letting us use all her suppiles and tools. (she has more power tools than most men and is showing the men how to work them) She's been a HUGE help painting. My dad's come to mow the lawn and help moving boxes in and do whatever other tasks we find for him. He took us to Red Mango yesterday which was a very yummy treat! Jay's dad has been a HUGE help with the pumping! He's had to move pipes every which way and has helped my Jay so much with how to do much of the work. He's letting us use lots of his tools and supplies too. Jay's mom was a huge help cleaning! We thought we were going to have to replace so many things, and after she finished cleaning them, we found out they were actually worth keeping! She worked magic in our kitchen! Our siblings also have come over and helped a ton too.
