On the Agenda for this week

We closed on our house Thursday the 18th, and we got the keys Friday. We went over Friday after work to get started. My mom and Jay's family all came to offer their help. (THANK YOU!) We started ripping up carpet and title and scrumming down all the walls and removing a few walls. We got a ton done! Saturday we went back for more fun! We stopped by Lowes and bought some of our flooring and lots of other supplies. And went and worked again on the walls and removing the rest of the flooring. My mom and I went and bought all our paint!! I hope the colors look good! The house is now pretty much all gutted now and looks a ton better! I didn't take before pictures and I'm so sad! It's been a total turn around in just 2 days!

Now, for this week: Our handy skills will really be put to the test!!

Today: My family is having a service family night in our behalf! We plan on painting ceilings and the floor, and priming where needed. And Jay's brother is going over during the day to prep the walls for paint.

Tomorrow: We aren't going to get much done, Jay's brother is being set apart.

Wednesday: Both Jay and I have the day off! Hopefully we'll get lots done! I want to get all the walls painted and the appliances ordered. Jay's brother leaves for his mission, and Jay's other brother and wife leave for home, they have been so much help! We'll miss them!

Thursday: Start the laminate floor, going in the kitchen, dinning room, hall and entry.

Friday: My mama's birthday!! Finish floor, put down baseboard

Saturday: My nephew's birthday!! Move into the garage...

Monday: CARPET!! and really start moving in.

Tuesday: Last day in our apartment :( Hopefully everything is ready for us!
