GiRLS NiGHT OUT!

For my mom's birthday, we got tickets to take her to Martina McBride. But I think that we were the ones who were really treated. My mom decided to get us a hotel and make it a "girls party night!" (Sadly, this picture cut off my mom....sorry mom! Someone took another one, I need it!!)

My mom, and my sisters; Brooke and Vanessa and I drove down together and met up with Laura, my Brother's girlfriend and Megan (Family Friend) for dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory.

But of course, this wasn't an "easy task"...before leaving, we ran into a few problems. (Not knowing when or where the concert was taking place to name a few) Number one being not having a car key. This problem could have been easily fixed by driving someone else's car, but we needed to take the suburban because Dean was going to barrow it after the concert for a "show." (Dean's in a band, SUPERHERO and uses the suburb to take the gear in for his "shows.")

My dad got home soon enough, we got a key from him, and we were off. We had a hard time making a decision where we wanted to go eat, and called Meg, who was on time, so already down on Redwood Road, and made her drive around and tell us what was there. We called Laura a number of times with changed plans. Poor girl for putting up with us.

After our fun dinner, we headed for the concert. We had a great time singing and dancing....(I was sick, so I watched mostly.) She sang a lot of really fun songs that we all knew that was really cool too, like "Hit Me with Your Best Shot". We had some unfriendly smokers by us, and after asking them to move and them just lighting up more, we moved. Which kinda sucked for us, cause everyone was standing where we moved to, but we still had a great time and we could breathe better!

The concert got over and we headed for our hotel. Laura and I went to check-in and my mom and sisters went to get some treats and a DVD, Megan went home. After we checked in, we get a call from Brooke saying they lost the key to the suburb or locked it in the car, and the store just closed. Oh great!! Right?! So me and Laura start off to Dean's house to get his key. Well about half way there, they call us again and say that they were let back into the store and that they found the key! Good News!! But we're already gone, so we just go to Dean's anyway, leaving them without a key to the hotel! Lots of KEY problems! But they were able to get another one from the front desk, so all was well.

We stayed up for a while talking about things that we shouldn't in front of a guest, but we do anyways, and snacked on some treats. Our room didn't have a DVD player, so we weren't able to watch the DVD, Juno, that they had rented, TV did just fine, but Law and Order wasn't on, so I was sad.

In the morning, after taking forever to decide what we were going to do, we went to breakfast at Mimi's, and then went shopping.....All day.

It was tons of fun!! And we all hope Laura still likes us!!

And I'm very excited for JACK!! Only 10 more days! Yahoo!!
