Happy One-Year Anniversary Jay!! I love you! It's been a freakin' awesome year! And I'm so excited for many many more! I can't believe how fast the year has gone by. So much has happened, but it seems like just yesterday that we were married. You are so great and I love you so much!! Thanks for taking such good care of me and putting up with me when I'm a dork, or when I'm crabby and all my obsessions. You are the Best, and my better half. I'm looking forward to eternity!

For our anniversary, Jay and I went down to Salt Lake for the weekend. We stayed at the Embassy Suites in downtown. The hotel was really nice and we were almost on the top floor and had an amazing view of the mountains and Salt Lake. We walked down to this pizza place that friends at Jay's work told him he should try. IT WAS AWESOME. Everything had so much flavor! It was so good! We decided to try their dessert as well, which was so great too! It was ice cream and delicious. I had hazelnut, and Jay had pistachio. Something everyone needs to try.

After dinner we walked back to the hotel and ordered a movie, "Horton Hears a Who". Which we really liked! Steve Carrell is the voice for the main "who" which I loved! We realized that we forgot our top cake layer from our wedding, that your supposed to eat on your anniversary and I was so sad! Luckily my sister was kind enough to break into our house and move it to the fridge so it would be ready for us on Sunday (Our actually anniversary date!!)
We enjoyed Sunday first by eating a great breakfast, part of the hotel service. Then we went to met my sister and brother with our cake. (Thanks again V and Jeff!!) We watched a lot of movies throughout the day. We'd brought lunch and dinner with us, so we wouldn't have to do much - being Sunday, but we did miss church...

We were so excited for our cake!! We finally will have more room in our freezer! And we'd waited a whole year for the delicious cake we remember at our reception, and we wanted a snack. It was fun to eat and reminisce.

Monday we ate another great breakfast, and checked out. We had the whole day to do nothing! Well from check-out, noon til 5:00 when we wanted to be at Jack Johnson to get good seats. We decided to go to Ikea. I love Ikea, I think it's inspirational. So after spending time and money at Ikea, we went for lunch to the Cheesecake Factory.

Thanks to a gift card, (Thanks Dean!) we enjoyed a yummy lunch and great cheesecake. We then went to visit Dean and give him a cheesecake. After not buying a beautiful bedroom set that I really wanted, we headed down to the concert!!!
